Frequently asked questions
What is DiagnosED?
DiagnosED is an educational and professional reflection app for healthcare learners. It helps you document de-identified clinical learning experiences, record your diagnostic reasoning, and build a searchable portfolio of reflections over time. It is not a medical record, EHR, clinical documentation system, or medical device, and it isn't a substitute for professional medical judgment.
Can I enter real patient information?
No. Every case you log in DiagnosED must be fully de-identified before you enter it. This means no patient names, initials, dates of birth, medical record numbers, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, photographs, insurance details, or admission/discharge dates. If you accidentally enter identifying information, remove it immediately.
How do I log a case?
From the Case Hub, start a new entry and work through the guided flow: patient background (de-identified), history, examination, assessment, management, and your personal reflection. You can also add a quick drawing or visual note alongside the encounter.
How do I find a case I've already logged?
Open your Case Book and search or filter by specialty, diagnosis, or tag to find previous entries.
Are the AI-generated summaries and suggestions always accurate?
Not necessarily. AI-assisted summaries, reflections, and educational suggestions are meant to support your learning, but they can occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate. Always review AI-generated content yourself, and never rely on it for patient care decisions. Never submit identifiable patient information to any AI feature.
How do I sign in, and what if I'm having trouble?
DiagnosED uses Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In — there's no separate DiagnosED password to manage. If sign-in isn't working, check that you're using the same Apple ID or Google account you originally signed up with, and that you have a stable internet connection. If it's still not working, contact us below.
How do I delete my account or my data?
Email us at infinotechs@gmail.com from the address associated with your account and request deletion. We'll remove your account and educational content, except where we need to retain limited information to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes.
What information does DiagnosED collect?
Only what's needed to authenticate your account through Sign in with Apple or Google — your name, email (or Apple's Private Relay email), a unique account identifier, and the authentication provider. DiagnosED does not collect location data, advertising identifiers, or usage analytics. See the full Privacy Policy for details.
I found a bug or have a feature request — what should I do?
We'd love to hear from you. Email us a description of what happened (or what you'd like to see), and include your device model and iOS version if it's a bug report.
